INDY OPEN 2026

This is the fourth ever Indy Open event. This year will be kicking off a 3-day convention at Embassy Suites & Event Center in Plainfield, Indiana. We will be holding several two day tournaments as well as a handful of 1-day events and one off events. The goal is to maintain a spirit of community and bonding over gaming.
We welcome players of all skill levels and will be offering tournaments for Star Wars: Legion, Marvel Crisis Protocol, Middle Earth, Warhammer 40k, Old World & More.
Location & Hotel Stay
We will be using Embassy Suites & Event Center in Plainfield, Indiana this year. This is located on the west side of Indianapolis. Hotel rooms can be booked in the hotel connected to the event center. You can book with our convention package for $189 a night and each stay comes with a complimentary full breakfast and bar ticket for each nights stay. Guests may also book by phone by calling

Painting Requirements
Painting Contest
This convention does have a standard 3-color minimum painting requirement. Miniatures do not need basing materials but should be painted to a tabletop standard.​ We will have several painting contest on Saturday during lunch break for categories below. Our painting Judges will be Whitemoth Studios for GW game lines and Brendan Born, Born Miniatures, for AMG game lines.
